Tacoma Humane Society Waives Dog Adoption Fees for Memorial Day 2025
In an effort to find loving homes for over 135 dogs currently in their care, the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County has announced a special Memorial Day adoption event. From May 21 to May 25, 2025, all dog adoption fees will be waived, making it an ideal time for families to welcome a new furry member.
The shelter has been operating at full capacity, and this initiative aims to alleviate the strain while providing dogs with the opportunity to find permanent homes. Adopters will still be responsible for standard licensing fees, but the waived adoption fees significantly reduce the financial barrier to pet ownership.
